Common questions

1How much does a project cost?

A 1-hour consultation is $100 and gives you a clear plan. Full projects get one fixed price after that call, once we know what you need, so there are no surprise invoices halfway through. Ongoing support as a monthly partner is $250 a month.

2How long will it take to go live?

A typical build takes 2 to 3 weeks from idea to launch. Bigger products with payments, dashboards and integrations take longer. You get a timeline with dates in your brief, and if you have a launch date (a Product Hunt launch, an investor meeting), we plan backwards from it.

3I only have an idea. Is that enough?

Yes. That's exactly where the DEJOA Method starts. In Discover we turn the idea into a clear brief: who it's for, what to build first, and what to leave for version two. Many clients come to us with a sketch, a voice note or a napkin.

4Do you do design and development, or just one?

Both, under one roof. Brand, UI/UX, front end, back end, payments, auth and launch. Because the same team designs and codes, nothing gets lost between the Figma file and the live product.

5Do I own the design, code and accounts?

Yes, all of it. Once the project is paid for, the Figma files, source code, domain and accounts are yours. We set things up under your name from the start, so you're never locked in.

6How will we communicate during the project?

You get a private client portal with progress, files and sign-offs, plus check-ins on whichever channel suits you: email, Telegram, WhatsApp or calls. You'll always know what's done and what's next.

7Can you build Telegram mini apps and bots?

Yes, it's one of our specialities. We've shipped trading mini apps, signals bots with client portals and puzzle games inside Telegram, with auth and Stripe payments working end to end.

8What happens after launch?

We don't disappear. Every project ends with a handover, and you can keep us on as a monthly partner for new features, fixes, SEO and marketing visuals as the product grows.

9Will you sign an NDA?

Dogecoinai: a fintech mini app for 12,400+ users

An AI trading mini app inside Telegram. We designed and built the entire product, from the bot and payments to the landing page, and keep shipping updates to live users.

The challenge

The client needed a trading product that people could use without leaving Telegram: deposits, automated trading sessions, account tiers and referrals, all in a chat app. Once it went live, a new problem appeared. Older users were struggling with onboarding and flooding the admin with help requests.

What we built

  • Built end to end. The mini app, the bot, payments, the admin tools and the landing page, so one team owned every part of the experience.
  • Redesigned onboarding for real users. Bolder text, a clearer call to action, fewer fields and short error messages that guide each step. Help requests to the admin dropped sharply.
  • Made withdrawals safer. After an admin panel mistake caused a withdrawal outage, we fixed it and added safeguards in the code so it cannot happen again.
  • Shipped without downtime. A five-tier account system and a clearer withdrawal screen went out to live users with no interruption.

Choppa: one app for everything in the Lagos kitchen

Lagos delivery apps focus on restaurant meals, but much of what people need is market foodstuff and kitchenware. Choppa puts meals, foodstuff and utensils in one app. It is our own product, built and tested end to end.

The challenge

Delivery in Lagos has to work on patchy networks and for people who pay in different ways. It also had to feel local: the language, the payment methods and the way addresses actually work.

What we built

  • Built for how Lagos pays. USSD and pay on delivery, alongside cards.
  • Addresses that riders can find. Map pin addresses with a note for the rider, plus an English and Pidgin toggle.
  • Works on patchy networks. A cached app shell, a cart that keeps working offline, and skeleton loaders.
  • A brand people remember. We created the Choppa brand and a campaign of 17 flyers, then reused them as onboarding inside the app.
  • Tested with real people. 30 to 40 early users and design mentors. Their feedback cut onboarding screens and reduced sign-up to Google or email only.

The challenge

Saving money is hard when it is always one tap away. Many Nigerians use ajo or esusu, rotating group savings run by someone they trust, but that trust can break. We wanted the same discipline, made digital and transparent, and built for how people actually move money.

What we built

  • Four ways to save. Kóló Flex for everyday saving, Kóló Lock for money that must stay put, Goals for targets, and Kóló Circle for group saving, all on one home screen with your total and interest earned.
  • Funding that fits. Bank transfer first, because that is how most Nigerians move money, with preset goals for Rent, School fees and December.
  • Kóló Circle. A transparent digital version of ajo, so groups can save together without relying on one person holding the money.
  • Built for slow networks. Skeleton loaders, cached screens and an offline banner, so the app stays usable on patchy connections.
  • Tested with real people. Part of the 30 to 40 person test group across our products, which led us to cut onboarding to Google or email sign-up only.

The challenge

The client was running dozens of paid Telegram groups by hand: posting signals on time, approving new members and welcoming them, every day. It did not scale, and every missed post cost subscribers.

What we built

  • Scheduled posting at scale. Owners set the timing, volume and message templates, and the bot publishes on its own across every group.
  • Onboarding on autopilot. A companion bot automatically approves join requests and sends welcome messages, so new members are never left waiting.
  • A clean client portal. Auth, a portal to manage groups and templates, and Stripe payments wired in end to end.
  • A landing page for the partner network. We designed the Scaltracking page that explains the tracking dashboard to affiliates.

A founder-led studio, built to ship

Dejoa started as one designer freelancing in 2021 and grew into a studio that designs, builds and launches products for founders worldwide.

From freelance briefs to products people use every day

Dejoa is led by Enoch Daodu, a design engineer and product designer. It started with 3D product work on CGTrader in 2021, then brand identities, websites and marketing work for founders in fashion, beauty, tech and retail through Fiverr (Level 1 Seller) and Upwork.

Clients kept asking for the next step: after the brand came the website, after the website came the app. So the studio learned to build the whole product. Because the same person owns the design and the code, ideas go straight into production without getting lost in a handoff, and we can change course quickly when users show us something new.

Today that means fintech mini apps, community automation bots and PWAs used by thousands of people. The name comes from the founder's initials, and the blue dot in the logo is the "live" signal: the moment an idea becomes something people can open and use.

  • We test before we polish. Kóló, Choppa and Unwind were tested with 30 to 40 early users and design mentors. Their feedback cut onboarding screens and reduced sign-up to Google or email only.
  • We design for the conditions people actually have. Cached screens, offline-friendly carts, skeleton loaders and bank-transfer-first payments for slow or patchy networks.
  • We keep shipping after launch. Updates go out to live users without downtime, like a five-tier account system and a clearer withdrawal flow for a fintech mini app.
